What was once a private residence and hotel is now a cultural events center for the community and surrounding areas of Gainesville, Florida. This Mediterranean Revival-style building is the settling for contemporary art exhibitions multiple restored period rooms and numerous historical exhibits. Its meeting rooms and performance spaces have become sought-after venues for weddings, conferences, and social events. The Thomas Center provides a versatile space that contributes to the cultural, civic and social life of Gainesville.
The Thomas Center is available for bookings for events with limited attendance.

Streetwear of contemporary clothing maker Joss Ramirez aka last call presented in parallel with the multi-media collage art of the late Gainesville artist Lennie Kesl. Across cultures, generations, and time, the two artists mirror the process of transforming found materials into art.

Works by American realist painter, art historian, and UF Professor emeritus John Ward, including large paintings, rarely seen pieces, and new work for this exhibition.
